Stained

This paintings was created by layering paint over and under each other. Scratching and adding texture to keep color underneath previous layers.

The background bleeds through in some places and in other areas it is barely visible. The yellow overlying color ties the composition together, like a surface or some kind. Almost like a rainbow brick wall has been painted over and the paint has started to chip away revealing the colorful brick beneath it.
