Disturbed Surface

This acrylic/mixed media piece was completed early in my art journey as a source of therapy and growth. Layers of green and red hue were mainly painted beneath the main blue surface. As I scratch away from the once even surface, it picked up color from beneath. Leaving my stable state of mind not so even.

Through the layers of paint, texture and subtracting method I created my current state of being at the time, which was very chaotic.
